A magnificent specimen growing on private property. It is of outstanding size and in excellent condition. The tree may have a very interesting history and is considered of State significance. Species normally restricted to the eastern end of Kangaroo Island and a small are on Fleurieu Peninsula; endemic to South Australia.
A large branch was lost due to storm damage in May 1985. Further storm damage necessitated its removal in late 1986.
