Possibly built by 1855, it is a double-fronted, single-storey house with an attic and timber finial at the apex of the high gable. It has a squared and coursed bluestone rubble front elevation with quoins and random rubble at the sides. It has a slate roof and the upper gable is timber. The skillion verandah has curved brackets. Twentieth century (or later) alterations and additions including the gable front and bargeboards, the rebuilt verandah and the fence are not significant. How is it significant?
