Wendy is 25 and works full-time in science. She rows a few mornings a week, plays tennis, loves her bike and has just bought a unicycle! Her girlfriend Lou is often over and the three of us get along really well.
I’m Liz and I have just turned 30 and until quite recently worked full-time as a freelance writer and editor. While I still do that part time, I am now working part-time at Melbourne Uni in international Marketing. I’m very social and also in a community choir that sings all about social justice and the environment. I love it! We're probably a little bit of the Northcote stereotype :-)
Wendy and I get along really well and we are happy to say we’re friends as well as housemates. We try to have ‘family night’ at least once a week where we get takeaway and watch a movie (lately has been Farmer wants a wife) or play cards (friends always invited!). It’s great living in a house where we feel completely comfortable to be ourselves with no tension and where everything can be addressed openly and honestly. There are no rules in the house, but it certainly feels like home ?
