The north west elevation is a portion of the cabin from the vesse l and is in good cond ition. Edina Cottage is of historic value to the community of the Bellarine Peninsula. Edina Cottage incorporates a portion of one of the most significant maritime vessels to ply its trade as a passengerandcargocarrier betweenGeelong,PortarlingtonandMelbourne. The Edina was an integral part of the Bellarine Peninsulas maritime history. Captain Forbes who had captained the ship for many years, salvaged part of it as a cabin at hisJndented Head home.
